    Ruger LC9?

My wife has been on a search for a Ruger LC9, anyone know a GS in the bay area that has any?

Don't you have to SSE the XDS?

I hate the long trigger pull on the LC9.
But a perfect ccw pistol, totally unnoticeable with my Crossbreed.
              Takes some getting used too.

There is a reason for that.

Upon learning of these guns when they came out, I could not wait to get one and jumped on the first one I found.

Yep; it is super slim, light, easy to carry, and is priced nicely.

However, I just could not shoot the LC9 straight due to the looooong trigger pull and looooong trigger reset.

Hickock45 makes it look easy to shoot, but after 400 rounds I was still all over the place.

I bit the bitterly-expensive bullet and paid the mega-bucks for a Kahr PM9 and found it to be the superior pistol for me. Far better trigger pull and reset which greatly improved my accuracy.

I really wanted the LC9 to be the end-all of CCW, but the trigger system is just not up the job in my case.

Galloway trigger job! I want to do one. I watched a few videos and I was amazed at how much it improved the trigger and people's groups. It's a great gun, with a lousy trigger--seriously its like a staple gun--I was going to get rid of mine until I found the galloway trigger bar/hammer. It also improves the reset. They also make a trigger.

I have an LC9 and love it. I even got used to the long trigger and reset. I did add the LazerMax sight to it and that made up quite a bit for the crappy trigger.

I still plan to do the Galloway trigger job.

If you do the trigger job, and you use the gun for CCW, and if you actually had to use it, would there be consequences for doing the trigger job?

very true. You might be made out to be some hot shot who was looking for a fight.
