Is gen4 texture too rough for long shooting sessions with lots of drawing? Or is it better to stick with gen3?

Glock gen4 grip texture

I have shot several USPSA matches & a few 500+rd range sessions with my GEN 4's, and I've never had my hands chewed up from the grip texture. I undercut the trigger guards on all my Glocks, but thats because I get Glock Knuckle. I ditched my GEN 3's because they were too slippery & never looked back. -
I've had similar experiences. Gen 4s for me.I have shot several USPSA matches & a few 500+rd range sessions with my GEN 4's, and I've never had my hands chewed up from the grip texture. I use green scotch-brite pad to smooth the casting blems and the edges of the trigger guard (especially after I cut the horn off).
If your hands are that soft - you could probably use it to take the corner-points off the checkering and turn'em into bumps.Comment
