Get a hold of member Stevil, I think he is the resident Kel-Tec guru here, and he is in Sac. May know some bay area folks.
Are you on the Kel-Tec Owner's Group forum?
And, why are adamant about not doing a F&B? I think it's probably one of the best 'first' things to do to any pistol, and will reduce the possibility of poor firing experiences.
Good luck,

It IS part of the inherent safety of the design, but there are a few things that can be done to clean up the action. The KTOG forum has quite a few threads about it.
I've replaced my trigger with an aftermarket one, and smoothed/massaged several components, and mine is still long but much easier than stock.
