    Picked up my Les Baer

I went to Turners before they opened and was second in line to pick up my new Les. I went to the range yesterday and shot 200 flawless rounds. No issues at all so far. I had read that I should expect some stopages in the first 500 or so rounds. I had my Sig 1911 Tac Pac along as well. The slide requires a lot of effort to cycle, but that is to be expected. I just pulled it from the box and loaded mags. I added a little CLP at the 150 mark. 300 more and I'll break it down to clean.

The only downside is that my Sig feels like a Highpoint next to the Les.

Pics to follow, it's a standard Primier 2, nothing too fancy.

Nice! I'm still waiting on CJ to call me about the long slide Baer I ordered exactly 8 months ago.

I'm in awe of the thing! The tollerances are so tight. It's smooth as butter when fired, amazing. I was mostly just burning ammo, not shooting groups. I'll head to the outdoor range to see how it does at 50 yards. I was getting 6-8 inch groups with my Sig, I think I can cut that in half with the Les.

I really like the longslides, I hope it shows up soon for you.

With my buddy's TRS Les Baer, I was able to nail a 20oz Co2 Tank at 100yards smack dab in the center. This with the Novak Night Sights too, amazing.

I was pissed my buddy sold it without telling me, but it's all gravy. I am saving up for a Custom Les Baer, can't wait.

Congrats! We calgunners want to see pics!
BTW Out of curiousity, what magazines are you running on your Les Baer?

My dream-1911 is a Les Baer, probably a TRS, but not exactly sure. I will own one some day.

OP, where are your pics?!?! Not cool! I have reported this post to the Mods since it violates CGN policy re: new gun posts without pics...

I'm useing a mix of the mags that came with the gun (2), Wilson Combat (4), and the mags that came with the Sig (4). I need to remove a bit of plastic from the baseplates on some of the mags. There is a piece that is about 1mm too long on the front of the mag, no biggie.

I love my Les Baer Custom Carry! I'm trying to figure out how to get a Premier II now. You'll be very happy with it!

That's the beauty of the Les Baer pistols. Much like my Springfield Professional, it has everything you need, and nothing you don't.
