Hey guys I just put one on lawaway. Anyone have one or experience with it good or bad?

to be honest, I was looking at a lot of Taurus pistols and revolvers... I did a ton of research and I learned that its a toss up... a lot of people had problems with their Taurus firearms... Some people loved it and said they would trust their life with the gun... I have no idea how much you spent but if you like it thats all that matters... Reading the stories of actual owners it made me look elsewhere for a gun... Don't want to bash your gun or rain on your parade...just being honest about what I learned because I fell in love with their tracker 44magnum and the 444... Nutnfancy (youtube gun, knife and camping guru...great videos) made a shootout video and he loved his Taurus 1911, praised it but said he would not do any serious work with it.. it would only be for the range and practice... but why spend 6-900 on a practice only gun? my money has to go a long way when it comes to big purchases.. I need my firearms to pull multiple duties... Home Defense, Plinking, Education, Providing food if need be etc.. good luck with your purchase and post some pics when you get her! One of my first guns was a Taurus PT145. After around 200 rounds, around 1 out of every 5 mags would come loose and drop free during firing. That being said, every manufacturer puts out a lemon from time to time, and Taurus does have a lifetime repair policy.

All in all, some people love their Taurii, but if it was me, and I wanted a .357sig SD/HD gun, I would probably spend an extra hundred bucks and get a Glock.

The "internet word" is that all Tauruses are garbage paperweights but the truth is that the more closely you stick to the 92 platform the more reliable they are.

A lot of junk you read on the internet is just that, junk. So don't make any judgements until you go out and shoot it a lot.

A Taurus that shoots .357 SIG. Doesn't sound like a good idea. If you're buying a Taurus that means you can't afford anything better. But the ammo you're gonna be shooting is more expensive than most other hand gun ammo. So if you're price sensitive, don't buy a gun that shoots prohibitively expensive ammo. I'm sure there's a SigPro in 9mm out there somewhere.

I must agree about the price in 357 sig... I would go for a nice 9mm or a 40... but I wish you nothing but the best with your purchase brother... post some pics when you pick her up
