    Thoughts on a couple 45s

Before I say anything, I know there are posts about "best 45 available?" And that's not what I'm looking for. Just wanted to ask about a couple of them and those are the FNP .45 and the CZ 97B I believe. (Whatever the .45 is that cz makes) Do any of you have any experience with either of these? I know the FNP is polymer and the cz is metal..but not much other than that. It doesn't seem like these are too expensive either. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

both are great guns... with that said I love the M&P line.... But I am going to DROS a 1911 this week (my first) and I am pumped about that... do not let the polymer fool you... they are some very rugged guns... I have never owned either gun but I was seriously considering a FNP before I bought my M&P 40... They are very reliable from what I read. The CZ, well there are so many fan boys (look whos talkin, I am a total M&P fan boy haha) but the CZ is on my bucket list... they are soooo nice

I saw a review on the fnp and I loved the ambi controls and the decocker.

Are either of these guns common? I've been in a few shops and I don't think I saw any.

Cz97- stay away if you have small hands. The grip of the pistol is very thick and you'll might regret having one. Oheck the the sw line of . 45 pistols. They are very reliable and durable

the FNP is not a common gun... I rarely see them...Hell, the CZ has a million year wait period getting certain models...

I disagree on the small hands CZ97B issue. I don't have the largest hands in the world, and my CZ97B feels fine in my hands, and I shoot it as good, if not better than my Sig P220 Combat. I did put a Hogue grip on it though. The CZ97B is a great gun. Handle one before you purchase it to make sure that it will be a good fit for you, But I love mine. It is a very accurate gun, and the weight helps keep the recoil very mild. It might be more accurate than my P200 Combat. IMHO it is the best .45 for the buck out there. OP if you are close to me, you can shoot mine, and I know of a LGS that has one in stock.

I love my fnp45, they are hard to find though. I guess the same can be said about the CZ's. If your local to me I'd be more than willing to let you shoot my FNP.

Both of those guns are hard to find...Especially since they don't make the FNP anymore they make the FNX which needs to be converted to SSE...You ever think of buying a SIG P220, XD or Glock 21 or even a H&K...But i had to choose either the FNP or CZ i might have to go with the FNP because it reminds me of a Sig and H&K put together..The CZ is very nice though...
