    Eagle Grips

Anybody ever ordered from Eagle Grips? I placed an order for a set of their "Secret Service" grips a month ago. Their e-mail said shipping in 6-12 days. Long past that,no grips and no relpy to emails. Are they alway this slow?

Funny, same here. I placed an order on October 22nd, for secret service grips. I got the same email 2 weeks after i placed the order. I have called them every 2 weeks and they finally shipped yesterday (Nov21). Or at least I think they did, I did get a tracking number but it hasn't updated yet. They better be perfect or I'm going to scream!

It's been a few years, but yes they were a little on the slow side. I called instead of email, it's just better to speak with a real person, as a matter of fact the guys name was Ralph that I spoke to. Really a nice guy on the phone and the service was better after that call.

I got a reply to my e-mail today. I was told there was a note requesting $8.50 for shipping. I looked up the PayPal receipt and it shows $69.95 for the grips and $8.50 for shipping paid in full to Eagle Grips. I repled with the above information and opened a dispute on PayPal. My suggestion to anyone looking for revolver grips is to look elsewhere.

          Bruce -

I would just give them a call and confirm the charges that way instead of relying on the computer. Things usually work out much better personally rather than through email or electronic communication. JMHO.

Well my grips arrived today. I installed them, they look and feel awesome. However I went shooting and by the fifth shot they were cracked. I got home pulled them off, put my factory grips back on and these are going back to Eagle tomorrow. These are the "Secret service grips" for a Ruger LCR. Very expensive but one of the only options I could find for the LCR and I've waited over two months for them! I'm bummed!

I recently ordered grips for a round butt and a square butt N-Frame S&W revolvers. My order arrived in less than two weeks and the fit, finish and durability were second to none. I'm very pleased with Eagle and would not hesitate giving them my business again.

After I replied to them and opened a dispute with PayPal, I received a very prompt response that it was all a mistake on their part and I'll have my grips within the week. We'll see.

The grips finally showed up. Still wouldn't recommend Eagle grips though.
