30 day waiting period..

Already into a fewdays of a 10 day waiting period on a ginpurchase. can i put another pistol on layaway to buy time for the 30 day wait then dros it? Is there a betterwork around? Not trying to get prior to 30 days just lock in my purchase.

There is no problem with layaway or purchase of multiple guns at any single time. The limit is only on the number of guns you can *transfer* within a 30 day period. You should work with your local gun store or internet vendor and arrange for them to keep the guns for you until you can initiate the transfer.

Many people have multiple guns scheduled for DROS months in advance. That's the only way to get hold of some more rare or specialty guns. You buy them when they show up, then wait until you can take possession.

I had a gun on layaway to wait for the gun on layaway to wait for the 30 day's to go by. Some places let you start DROS ten days before you pick up your layaway but keep in mind that the 30 day wait between DROS' still applies.
