    CZ 75 Compact?

Some questions about this CZ 75 Compact 9mm all steel with safety as apposed to the CZ 75D PCR compact alloy frame?

Any SF East Bay dealers that tend to stock the CZ 75 Compact?

For those lucky owners that have one, or more, were did you find them?

Any Northern California ranges with these for rent?

Been looking over the "for sale" posts and it seem the CZ 75B (?) larger, full size pistol turns over a bit, did not see many CZ 75 Compacts.

    Many Thanks

Anyone have one too many of these???

I think the PCR and the P-01 are significantly more popular. I honestly can't say I know of somebody with a 75 Compact. Not that it doesn't have its place. For somebody who prefers the steel frame over aluminum and prefers a safety over a de-cocker, it's the option in the compact 75-based line until you get into the Rami (which is sub-compact and comes in steel, aluminum, polymer and in safety and de-cocker versions in 9mm and in .40 as well I believe).

      Thanks Jeremy,

And it may handel hotter P++ loads approaching the 40 S&W.

I thought the PCR was the compact. Lol
I have the p01 allow frame and I love it, it is lighter and has a tad more recoil due to the lighter alloy, but the compact has almost zero recoil from the Steele frame

I got my compact a few years ago from Bud's gunshop. I don't carry so I like that it is all steel.

I just saw a cz p01 at a local gun shop tonight. I'm debating to DROS it tomorrow.

I have a PCR. It has a decocker, whereas the Compact has a safety with no decocking function.

I got my PCR about a year and a half ago at On Target Range in Laguna Niguel. At that time, they had quite a few CZ's in the gun case, mostly the full-size versions. But when I went there earlier this year, they were all out. I don't think I've ever seen a Compact for sale at any local gun store that I've been to.

Gotcha. That and I forgot to mention the rail on the p01 compared to the PCR/compact.

                  Hi RailRoader,

Could you share your experience with the steel frame Compact? I know the PCR is about 5oz lighter. My intensions are for an "all-around" blaster/fun games pistol that is smaller/lighter/higher round count than a 4" Kimber Pro Carry SS. A somewhat more utilitarian, for me, rough-and tumble compact pistol.

Are you somewhere in Northern California?

How does the CZ 75 Compact 9mm conpare to the Beretta 8000?

I owned one and liked it (it was a beautiful 2 tone model). I replaced it with a CZ SP-01 which is a better gun in every regard. Much better sights, better grip, longer sight radius leads to more accuracy.

The compact was better looking and had more classic lines, and was possibly the best feeling gun I ever shot, until I shot my SP-01.

Love the 9mm compact - the weight is perfect for +P+ rounds.

Plus I hate the decocker (makes no sense to me) so no P-01 or P-06 for me.

Actually, they have added a rail to the compact in the last year.

Really? Lol damn so I guess the only differences now are the alloy/steel frames and the weight then.
OP where in Cali are you. Your more than welcome to shoot my p01
