Fn 5.7 has been out of stock even before the election and the Sandy hook tragedy. 5.7 pistol has been whipping boy of Brady bunch, no less lethal then a 9mm pistol since we can't get the AP rounds like police/military. I have the 5.7 pistol, it is light and out of state, the 20 or 30 rounders give you lots of firepower with low recoil. I bought bunch of rounds over summer. Federal makes cheaper practice rounds now, they were at cabelas for 19.99 but out of stock.

if you think you're going to find a "deal," good luck. everything is WAY over MSRP including magazines, which if I am not mistaken, every online friendly retailer is sold out of AR mags or selling them at 2x or 3x their regular price.

forget the gun, they pop up every once in a while in the used forsale section. What you need is to get your hand on as much 5.7 ammo as possible. Then worry about the gun.

Use the toy money for the 5.7 for a complete reloading set up. Seriously, we need to be independent of ammo manufactures and future ammo restrictions. Plus reloading is FUN.
