A local machinist in the Sacramento area (since deceased) came up with this novel idea for a quick-change barrel for the P08 Luger. The press of a button and a quarter turn of the barrel removes the barrel and allows changes between 9MM and .30 caliber barrels.
The pic above shows the adapter threaded into the Luger receiver where the barrel would normally thread in. A short extension is silver-soldered to the front of the trigger guard.
