good day, i have a new full size px 4 storm 9mm, and i think i get too many spent brass / to my face not all the time, but enough to say wtf, one went between glasses and face ......any ideas ??

Brass to your face is caused by the slide kicking an empty case that didn't clear the ejection port back at you. It's caused by either ejection angle issues or ejection timing or a combination of both.

A recoil spring thats too strong or weak for the ammo being used, a pistol thats underlubed (or too tight/not broken in), or limp wristing can all affect ejection timing.

Ejection angle is controlled by extractor tension and ejector height/length/angle.

I'd suggest trying different ammo, lubing the pistol more, using a firmer grip or some combination of the three to see if it changes anything.

Unless this brand pistol commonly has this problem I wouldn't suspect extractor tension/ejector shape just yet.

Wear a hat along with your safety glasses till you figure it out

thank you, the gun is not broken in yet 150 rds/ i use frog lube on the slide maybe a little oil till broken in ? don?t think its my grip? we will see later after break in is done....

Froglube is your problem. Its honestly not a good Lubricant.

I run wilson combat grease and oil, they are the best. But tetra gun grease and a decent lube works as well.

Grease your rails, oil the entire slide assembly and barrel/chamber area. Also you can check the extractor tension with a flat blade screwdriver. Just lightly push on it, it should take a decent amount of pressure to move it.
