Gino's Glock is finally home!

After a brutal 10 day waiting period, I was finally able to pick up the Glock 17 OD that I purchased. I purchased it from my late friend Gino Clarke's widow, who insisted on giving me a ridiculous price on it because she knew how much guns and the shooting sports meant to me and Gino, and knew that I would use it for what Gino would have intended it for.

Without further adieu, the gun porn! Note the EGA back plate on the slide, Gino was a proud Marine combat engineer:

I don't know why but those odd-colored Glock slides make the pistols look 10x better. Glad the pistol is going where its former owner would want.

Its a gorgeous pistol, even if it is a glock! I'm going to take it to the range this weekend, hopefully I'm still as good with it as the last time I shot it 6 months ago.
