I'd be all over a non-ported version with a silver, nonbobtailed frame.

Pass. Speaking only of my own skill level, i'm in no danger of outshooting a 'standard' SW1911 anytime soon.

The 1911 may have been in wars for 100 years, but Masetro Bartolomeo Beretta was arming the world 400 years before John Browning was ever a wet dream.

I have a Performance Center 1911 and the refinement it just a really nice step up. What's cool with this one besides the looks is this is a true hand crafted (like Wilson, Baer, or Brown) light weight Commander style pistol for less than the price of a mass produced Dan Wesson Bobtail.

I love the slide serrations. Even better than the M&P's.

Interesting pistol. I can't decide if it's actually a ported barrel or not from the description posted.

"Slide Ported Lighting Cuts". Lighting cuts? Really? Are there LED's in there, or does a ported barrel "light up" the surroundings when fired? Or did they mean "Lightening cuts"?

                        Lighting cuts? As in weight?

I like everything on it except the fish scale serrations but if the price was right I wouldn't let that stop me.

I'll be the rare person who says that I think it's ugly. In particular I do not like the slide serations.
