I picked up a CZ75 and want to change the sights out on it, simple question, if i change them, will it mess up how accurate it is stock out of the box. i have never changed out the sights on any of my pistols before and dont care to screw up how accurate the gun is now. Any suggestions?

What type of sights are you looking for? Are you looking for night sights or something like fiber optic which are easier to see. One option is to just change the front sight to fiber optic. Cz Custom sells them in the stock front sight height. If you change just that your gun should still shoot to the same point of aim but the front sight will be easier to see.I picked up a CZ75 and want to change the sights out on it, simple question, if i change them, will it mess up how accurate it is stock out of the box. i have never changed out the sights on any of my pistols before and dont care to screw up how accurate the gun is now. There are a bunch of different sight heights so you have to make sure the front matches the back. What type of sights are you looking for? Installing new sights to be as accurate as the old is unlikely, since there is no index. They might be BETTER than stock, who knows.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING*Comment

i am more concerned with the front sight, so i guess ill look into the full set and just changing the front. What type of sights are you looking for? just remember, there is a target that comes with your CZ. CZ states that the point of aim is adjusted to the mean point of impact at 25 meters. If you look closely, the rear site might be drifted from the factory one way or another. if you decide to change them out, you will need to adjust them again. just because the sights are dead straight to the frame doesnt mean it will be where your POI is. My gun has a tendency to hit left of center so my sights are drifted to compensate.Comment

The 5.5mm is the stock front sight height. Cz custom sells them in different widths and different size fiber tubes. Here's one that would work with your rear.

They are not hard to change out if you have the right tools. A small brass or nylon punch and a small steel punch for the front. You may have to drift your rear sight after your first range trip to get it dead on. I always have to adjust mine a little when I install new sights. I'm very picky about my accuracy and like to have my sights dead on.Comment

Here's a couple of my guns. The compact has the stock rear with a 5.5mm front. The 75sa has a cz custom comp rear with a 6.5mm front sight. Both shoot about a half to an inch high at 15 yards.

Those both looks great, I just got this CZ and I am impressed, it's deffinatly my favorite so far.
Nice upgrades bro, I think I'll leave mine pretty much stock minus the sights. What's the advantage to changing out some of the internal parts? I heard the only extra part you may ever need is a slide stop.check out my recently made, crude but practical video...i talk about the sights and i mention the Kadet as well
