Para GI expert sse?

So went to the range today, went over and browsed their sales floor while I waited for my buddy, and there in the case was para GI expert for sale. Now I know it's not on the roster but the guy said they do sse so I could potentially buy it.

Are these firearms an good? Worth the money? Tag on it said $650.

I have a Para P14 Limited. 5 inch stainless match barrel 14 rd mags (pre-ban) I`m keeping it! Basically a 1911, Triggers Titanium/Magnesium & Polished, It`s a nice .45. Heavy, but Accurate & I like it! Canadian Made.
Not sure what the GI Expert is tho!

i have a para 14 also, but the frame, mated with an SA slide, bbl and parts, (before the entire gun was available), like it lots, (oh it is the steel frame), carried it for a while when working security, now it is my first HD go to.

I have the para ltc. It's a nice gun and it was on the ca roster. Not to much more expensive. They are now based out of the U.S. it's a quality firearm.

Para has been really hit or miss. I have an old P14 that was done by the guys at EGW. Works great. I also bought a 2005 SSP. This was before the big move. Since their move however, quality has suffered greatly. Check out the 1911forum for more info. If it were me, (I love 1911s) I would pass. For the same money, you can get an SA Mil-Spec you won't have to wonder about. And should it actually have a problem, SA customer service is reputed to be top notch. The same can't be said for Para. (recently)
I own lots of 1911s from various manufacturers. The ones I would NEVER sell are my DW Cbob, my Para SSP, Para P14 (hi-caps after all ) and my custom Chuck Rogers SA Mil-Spec.
