Glock 19 Gen 4 Trigger Not Resetting :( HELP

So, this morning as I was handling the Glock 19 gen 4, I noticed when I pulled the slide back and release, the trigger did not come foward.

I did this a few times and then finally the trigger engaged and was back into firing postion.
I dry fired and racked the slide and to my dismay, it did not reset again.

As furious as I was I just threw it (not literally) into the safe and headed to work.

Here I am now, asking for help.

    Modifications:
    G17 Smooth trigger (Gen 3)
    Extended Slide Stop (Glock Part)
    Vickers Tactical Magazine Release

I shot the pistol few days ago and ran just 30-50 rounds.

Not sure what else to do at this time, kinda bumbed out... wish I never sold my Beretta 92FS now....

Check the spring you disconnected when you installed your new trigger.

I will tear it down tomorrow morning, Im pretty sure its still connected. When I pushed foward it reset and clicked.
I did not have any issues at all when I was at the range.

I will follow up again once I take it down again.

Its definitely not the slide stop or mag release so rule that out. I would see about putting in the stock trigger bar and see if it goes away. Glock 19's dont seem to like the Gen 3 trigger bars. The G17's seem to not have this issue.

The only thing that pushes the trigger bar forward as the slide comes forward is the firing pin. It sounds like your firing pin to trigger bar engagement is not enough. This is a check that should be performed anytime a firing pin or trigger bar are replaced. I know Glocks are easy, but its important stuff like this thta Glock Armors know to do, and garage gunsmiths don't know or bother with. Get an inspection plate for your slide and do the check, you want minimum 2/3 engeagement.

Yup, thats why I asked him to swap back to stock. Not much you can do about that except for swapping trigger bars. At least thats what we were told at Glock armorers school (Im still current).

I tore it down and reinstalled everything back in, nothing was disconnected and it seems to be working fine now.
I will leave the stock trigger in there for now.
Thanks for all the help guys!

Its the trigger spring. This happened with my G34 after I tore it down to polish up the trigger. The spring was connected to the trigger but not correctly. That's what's causing the reset to fail. I had to disassemble and make sure the spring was attached correctly.

Trigger reset spring needs to be connected like an "S" and it sounds like you had it the other way initially.
