    EAA witness caliber conversion?

Anyone here have one that has switched caliber with EAAs kits?
I just ordered a 10mm kit to fit it on my 45acp. they are slow and must be backed up since they say it will take 3-4weeks before they mail my parts to me.

I'd check gunbroker first. The 9mm would be the first one I'd buy.

I shoot a lot of S&W 500s so the 10mm in a frame the size of a 1911 is very comfortable to shoot for me, my carry gun is a snub nose 357 with 158 gr JHPs, have no problem hitting what I aim at.

I'm really interested in getting a witness in 9mm and 10mm too.

I did exactly this. I bought a full size steel Witness in .45 and later bought a 10mm conversion kit to shoot 10mm. As long as you get the magazines made with the red followers, you should be fine. Of course, I bought my gun so long ago the magazine series is no longer an issue.

Thanks dwtt. I bought my witness about 20 years ago, between then and now I have had a few 40s&w they were good guns just want more range and more power. Ordered 3 extra mags with the conversion but they are slow about delivery, was hoping to be shooting it before Christmas.

              Same gun just different uppers.
Personally I want to pick up a Witness P Carry, then have the 9mm, 10mm, and 45 uppers for it.

I built a EAA 9X21 race gun from Brownells parts. I bought a 40 cal top end so I could use the same gun to shoot the tac class. Easy swap!
