    XD45 grip safety????

Anyone know when XD45s with the thumb safety will be made available, I'm really wanting to get one but am thinking of waiting untill the new version comes out.

I know this sounds crazy, but I don't think it can be added to the CA approved list since it lacks a magazine disconnect. You'd think that they'd let that one in since it's more PC with it's extra safety feature. We'll see. Maybe someone else knows more about the situation than I do.

e-mail springfield, but the outlook is not good for CA residents.

the XD loaded chamber indicator does not pass the more stringent LCI requirements in place this year, so the new for '08 XD's may never be available here.
