    Glock 36

Anyone had any experience with this guy? I'd like to get on but I've heard of FTE issues. Has anyone had experience with 6+1 setup? I'd get one and put a Pearce grip on it. Just looking for info or secondhand stories.

The black sheep of the glock world if you ask the right people.

I love mine. A few growing pains here and there but nothing bad.

The pearce mag +1 works great for me.

      Outstanding product.

For a compact carry Glock, it is Best-of-Breed.

New production has been flawless and trouble free, and is extremely accurate.

Just stay away from Boutique crap like extended slide stops.

They are the culprits on most, if not all, of the dip-sh*t vids you'll see where the slide locks back in the middle of the mag. They even misrepresent it as a jam, but it is just the extended slide lock jumpin' up during recoil.

Wonderful Pistol, Would like to see'em make one in a .40.

P.S. "+1" will un-spec. the mag spring, more boutique crap to screw up a perfectly reliable pistol.

Your next mag holds Six, so just shoot Seven and then reload. Boutique crap that allows you to hold "+1" more rounds, and then causes a malfunction on round Three, is not really a "+".

I shot six rounds out of one.. I did have a failure to return to battery but it wasn't my gun so I don't know what condition the recoil spring was in or if it was dirty.. I shot it very well and the grip was the most comfortable of any glock for my hand. if I didn't have a m&p 45 c I would consider one

The +1 gave me trouble; removed it = problem solved. Great .45 imo

Bought mine in 2004 and I put +0 Pearce mag extentions on all 7 of my mags. Conceals nice, very accurate after installing the 3.5 connector. OP,buy one you won't be sorry.

I'd like to get one to shoot and keep at home. I'd like to maybe carry at one point.

                For HD/SD I would put it ~ 1/2 a notch below the .40/180 gr G23.

                For Carry? Squarely on top.

Can't say enough good things about'em.

My 36 is my primary carry and that is everyday in a very dusty and dirty environment. This gun has never failed to fire and runs very smooth for me. I have not done anything to the gun it is stock from the factory.

I have a Sig P239 on my permit and a S&W Bodyguard in .380 the .380 is my second gun for those special uncomfortable times in Stockton. The Sig is a .40 and it gets carried in my suit or dress up days.

I love the 36. Very accurate and reliable. I've heard of problems with them awhile back but nothing recent.

I used to have one, my pinky would get pinched between the mag and bottem of the mag opening which caused me to flinch while shooting, so I sold it. I had a model 30 at the time so no big deal, I liked shooting the 30 more. Unfortunately in a moment of weakness I sold it to my brother. One of these days I'll get another model 30, looking for a 2.5 version, no rail. To me the 30 is easier to shoot and just as concealable.

How do you like the P239 and how does it carry and shoot?

It's quite a bit heavier and a little thicker than the G36, but it's a little shorter.

Like the single-stack .40 though... wish Glock made one.

I have been looking for a substitute and the 3.6" Bbl. P239 looks promising.

I'm looking at the 30 as well both seem nice. Hickok45 isn't a big fan of the 36 but he likes they 30. I'd like to try both but finding a 36 will be hard. Has anyone shot both?

No reliable semi auto packs as much punch as a G36, in such a small of form factor. One of our own forum members saved countless lives with his G36.

That being said, G19/23 is only marginally larger, and holds an additional 4 rounds with standard magazines, and even more if you are lucky enough to have pre-ban mags.

Love mine. I bought one with stippling already done on it. Fits my hand perfectly. Shoots well and never fail.

I also installed XS big dot sight.
