    HK P30 LEM Trigger Pull

So I picked up two HK P30 LEMs recently (in .40) and personally don't like the length of pull on the trigger. The entire weapon is incredible, but the trigger sucks quite frankly. The long pull definitely doesn't help the accuracy of my follow up shots if I am trying to get them down range quickly and still maintain my normal grouping.

My question to you fine gunners is who can do some work on this for me?!

I need a trigger job with a shorter pull and I need it done by a real pro who I can trust to do an awesome job on this beautiful pistol.

    Thanks guys.

If your referring to the takeup slack that cant be changed. For the long reset though, it'll cost you a pretty penny. Its the only flaw I can think of for the P30 series, though the HK45 series has a much shorter reset.

I've shot a couple of LEM pistols---it takes some getting used to, but light and smooth---operator needs to spend time shooting pistol regularly. My personal P30S 9mm, P2000 9mm, USPf 45 and 9mm are all DA/SA trigger types---its just what I am used to.

Are you talking about the initial pull or the reset?

If you want a shorter pull, convert them back to DA/SA and shoot it SA. Not sure why you bought 2 of them with the LEM.

LEM is hard to learn relative to other triggers...once you do, it's a great trigger. The reset is firm/short/light/crisp enough to where you can shoot fast and accurate firing from reset. Of the HK45/P30, the HK45 definitely has the better LEM trigger.

I bought two because I got them for $705 each.
Thanks for all the info guys. I was so disappointed because it's the most ergonomic and comfortable pistol I've held. I'm sure it was just me sucking with a new trigger system I wasn't used to.

Darn looks like I'm going to have to shoot it a bunch and practice.

Length of reset is set but you can convert it to Light LEM and give it a try.

The reset looses "oomph" with the lighter spring if you go light LEM. The standard weight setup is better IMO. You don't think about trigger weight once the trigger breaks in after ~750-1000 and it smoothes/lightens out and you're used to LEM. If you intend to carry the gun, I wouldn't mess with spring weights.
