S&W Sigma .40 one part trigger

I have been searching through countless threads and sites, here and elsewhere and all I've found are things related to the heavy trigger pull...replacing springs, polishing, etc. What I'm trying to find out is if there is a replacement for the actual trigger itself... The hinged two part trigger is what I would like to try and replace. Is there anything available?

Wow, that seems crazy considering how many they have made and how long they've been around.

got rid of my sigma, like the feel of the pistol, hated the trigger and didn't want to go to the trouble. lot of spring things you can do i understand, but wasn't for me. good luck.

I removed a couple springs from mine. Still not awesome but very useable now.

I sent mine to a smith in Texas. He lessened the length of pull by about 1/3 and it's much crisper.
Still isn't as nice as most of my others but is much much better.
Can't remember the guys name but found him after doing a lot of internet research - like you I'm sure.

Thanks everyone, I've gone down the spring route (haven't tested it yet) but that hinged trigger just bugs me.
