    Gun age?

I recently purchased a S&W Model 37 serial # J334260 but unfortunately it has no box or papers with it. Is there any easy way of figuring out when this gun was manufactured?

Just got off the phone with S&W, the above info is correct.

Side topic - I've been thinking about getting the letters for a bunch of my revolvers; can you do sort of a "batch" submission and get a deal on the pricing for doing a bunch at once? Any clue?

(I've never gotten a letter done yet, but thought about it)

Gun age - I thought this thread was going to be about the comparisons of our current times to things like the Stone age, Copper Age, Bronze Age, Space Age, etc.

                .
