1911 front sight roll pin walking out

Like the title says, my new mc operator has about 400 rounds through it.

I noticed the front sight roll pin has started walking out.

    How should I remedy this?

It looks like I can throw a dab of locktite on it and drive it back in.

I just wanted to get an expert pov.

    Thanks,
    OD

The easiest thing would be to clean the heck out of the area with brake cleaner. After that put a dab of green lock-tite which is supposed wick into the cavity. That should hold it.

if it's a slotted roll pin, change it to a HD coiled pin.

just switch to night sights. that happened to my springfield loaded, I contacted them and they sent me a recoil spring.... I guess the lady misunderstood me.

Jesusfreak, it is a slotted rollpin, can you send a link to the hd coiled springs?

            Thanks
