    last round jam on sig220

I shot my sig 220 ( out of the box) with 200 rounds of blazer brass. For every mag, the last round got jam, the slide could not be all the way forwarded, I have to manually push the slide forward and shoot. It happend for last round only for both of the 2 mags of my sig220.
Please advise, is it because of cheap ammo?

    Could be the ammo?
My wife's P220 ST does the same thing, but with Aquila 230 grain FMJ. It loves the Blazer brass however.

Could be the ammo. My p220 never had a jam...in my hands. I let my cousin shoot it and it would do as you described. I asked what he was doing, he said nothing. I told him to control the pistol more, he said he was. I took it from him and proceeded to put three full mags through it without fail. I wish I could be more helpful, but all I can say is let someone else shoot it and make sure you're not limp wristing it.

Well, next time I will hold my 220 firmly, probably the slide will go with full potential energy. Hopefully no jam! Thanx.

          Is it the carry model?

my elite carry had the same problem and it seems to be common. call sig, they'll email you a prepaid label to send back to the factory for service. Check this thread:
