I contacted Centerfire Systems to be placed on the backorder list for a RIA Tactical (great price $379).
Once they saw my Ca. address I was informed they do not sell handguns to California even if the pistol is on the DOJ list (which the RIA Tactical is).

Anyone recommend where I can get on of these? DDS Ranch sell the High Standard GI for $350 and they are a great supporter of Calguns (I bought my 2 OLLs from them) Maybe I should just buy one of those and mod it from there.

Are you talking aboput the RIA 1911 or the 9mm? They have the 9mm in Lancaster at the Gunshop...nice feel kinda like the baby desert eagle which also has a nice feel ..kinda reminds me of holding my Kimber........almost..Cheers!!

I'd give them a call. They list it as "CA Legal," so I bet they'd ship here.
