So my glock 21sf has some pretty noticable wobble with no mag inserted. It seems to be more near the rear of the frame/slide. Its only side to side and does not do it with a mag inserted. It fires fine and shoots straighter than I can lol. Is it normal for that to be? I figured its similar to the slop of my AK to help with reliability. Thanks guys.

Glock 21sf slide wobble?

How much wobble? Something you can feel but not really see or something that could be measured in mm's?So my glock 21sf has some pretty noticable wobble with no mag inserted. You can see it if your really stare maybe 1-2mmComment

Its more of the sound of the rails and slide hitting eachotherComment

Ok. Well I wouldn't agree that lateral slide wobble is a norm but definitions of wobble do vary
Pop the slide off and do a pretty through inspection of the rails with emphasis on the metal part of the rails. Make sure they are solid and there's no play between them and the plastic. Otherwise unless you see anything unusual , function check, fire it and move on to amassing magazines and ammunition

I have the same side to side wiggle with my G30SF and my newly acquired G21SF as well. Doesn't seem to affect performance or excessive wear on my 30SF and I haven't shot my 21SF yet. My 9mm Glocks (19, 26) frame-to-slide fit is tighter. It might be a characteristic of big bore Glocks.NRA, CGF, GSSF, SAF member
