      You can modify it with a pin, no need to cut anything.

                  Why is this in the handgun forum?

                  In CA...
                  It's not legal to attach a shoulder stock on a handgun, unless you have BATFE approval to make a SBR and have a valid CA DOJ Dangerous Weapons Permit for a SBR.
