    Upgrades for old generation M&P

I am a bad man. I have several M&P variants purchased in 2007 that I have never fired. That is gonna change. I'm planning on using at least two of them as suppressor hosts and using 1 or 2 for 3 gun/competition. I know Apex makes some good upgrades for the M&P series.

My understanding is that the followers have been updated and striker has been updated? Is that correct?

In short, what should I look at upgrading on these for improved reliability and shootability?

I think they'll update the striker for the asking. The changes to the follower and base plate were just running changes.

I bigger update you might want to look into is replacing the sear plunger/spring with the current larger one...I'd do it at the same time as installing the Apex Tactical action parts

Sear housing block and return spring from 1/16 to 1/8. It will cost you $25 at Apex Tactical.

Not sure about the older models, but on the newer models I bought hard to detect the reset. Apex makes a ram kit, that you can feel and hear the reset, if that's important to you.
