This one has been a while in the works and I'm really excited about finally sharing it with you guys. It's the first S&W revolver I've ever owned.
It's a Model 586-7 (limited edition 7 shot) .357 Magnum and it's in flawless condition. Narry a mark anywhere on the entire thing. I could not have asked for more, it's absolutely exactly what I'd been dreaming of.
The gun comes from the factory with somewhat large wooden, diamond checker, combat, square butt grips attached to the round butt frame. Conversly I come from the factory with somewhat small hands. The two things don't mix well. So, I blended my love of all things stag with my newly found love of S&W's and had an extraordinarily talented craftsman (Grashorn Gunworks) make the stag round but grips w/medallions you see in the photos. It now fits my hand like it was made specifically for me. Plus, the stag just looks so damned cool!
Below are a couple pics taken tonight of the new gun, new grips and the rest of the set up that goes with them.
