After spending some time on the Rifle forum and the whole justification behind OLL, its pretty clear that the model must exactly match what's on the approved/banned list. So I've got my eye on a SA TRP listed on their site as model "PC9107LP" but I only find "PC9107L" (w/o the P) on the CA approved list. Is this one in the same? Just want to be certain that I'm not bringing something into the state that's gonna fail the DROS. Thanks.

It looks to me that the "P" is a Springfield designation for pistol. All of the 1911 style pistols have that "P" designator. I have seen that model in a shop, so I know it is available in CA.If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun.

it's the same.
all the model numbers on springfield's site have alot of extra stuff on them.
my XD45's model number on the receipt, price tag, and Roster are all "XD9621", however on the site it is "XD9621HCSP06""Any unarmed people are slaves, or are subject to slavery at any given moment." - Dr. Huey P. NewtonComment
