Easy on the finish is a relitive term. Any holster that holds your weapon securely will leave wear marks.....or as I like to call them beauty marks.

i suggest you consider the Milt Sparks 55BN. the Milt Sparks 55BN (BN=Bruce Nelson) is a leather OWB holster that was designed by the late Bruce Nelson; he called it the #1 Professional. Milt Sparks modified this holster by adding a reinforcing strip to the holster's mouth for shape retention, and added a sight rail inside the holster. there are countless versions of this holster on the market today, but the Milt Sparks 55BN is considered the standard by which others are measured. i own several for the Glock and Sig Sauer handguns, all of which were made when the late Milt Sparks was still at the company's helm. the good news is that the folks at Milt Sparks Holsters, Inc. continue to produce great gun leather.

there's no getting around some amount of 'holster wear' on your handgun's finish if you use a holster for it's carry, regardless of holster material. the handgun's movement on contact with the holster creates friction, and over time it is this friction that creates wear on a handgun's finish. the best holster to prevent wear on a handgun's finish is a holster that fits correctly. a properly fitted holster prevents unneeded movement of a handgun inside it's holster and the friction that would result.
