Best gun store ever

I just wanted to take the time to praise my LGS. Tracy Rifle & Pistol. I've been to many gun stores in my time and everyone had the same experience- a couple old guys with NO personalities and frankly ,not cool to talk to at all. I dont know why but, these guys are all a-holes. I cant wait to get out of there. So, one day im driving around town and I see tracy rifle & pistol. What? A new gun store. Let me check it out asap. There was 2 guys in there. Not much inventory yet. So I start talking to Mike (owner), and instantly, I felt comfortable. We talked about anything and everything. He answered ALL my questions. It was a great experience. I bought a XD9 sub. I felt like I really wanted to buy and help the guy. He was on the right track to becoming the best shop ever. Lets fast forward 4 years later. TR&P is doing fantastic. I cant remember a time there was less than 4 guys behind the counter eger to to help. They shared the same passion that we all have for firearms. They appear to all be in there 30s. ALL of them are down to earth and very cool. The store has nothing but awesome guns inside. XDm, Night Hawk, TRP, RIAs, ARs , holsters,clothes,safes,scopes, everything ! The best thing about the store will have to be the fact they can do SSE on every gun that they can. There prices are the cheapest around being in tracy also. Let me finish by saying that No one put me up to writing this and they dont personally know me. I just felt it needed to be said. Its worth the extra drive I promise.

WOW that's a huge slam to all those other fine gunshops out there.

I guess we all have our own criteria as to what is our kind of gunshop. I know I like shops that have long guns on the sales floor that we customers can finger.

I also like gunshops that buy,sell, and trade. Lots of used guns onhand. Especially the older vintage stuff. Not the basic polmer striker fired souless junk. Real steel and wood!

Hopefully there are some gun dealers out there reading this, but probably not. Calgun people are not usually a type that dealers are interested in. And that is justified since a majority of calgunners don't use gunshops for anything other than their FFL. And then gripe about their price.

Anyway, glad you are happy with TRP. They have always treated me well also.
