I shoot a lot, 3 times weekly, so ammo is a big expense and I simply don't have time to reload. (BTW, I suck so if anyone knows of a good instructor in Santa Cruz County, drop me a pm, really).
I have always bought bulk from either SG Ammo or BulkAmmo, both good outfits, generally either Aguila or Partizan. BulkAmmo is quick, but don't always have what I want at the price point I need. SG Ammo seems to have fewer stocking issues but it takes longer to get it in.
Have read some chatter in these forums about Bulletman911 re-manufactured ammo, all positive. So I contacted him last weekend. Impressed with Serge's rapid responses. Pricing was very good. In for a penny, in for a pound, i ordered 3k 9mm, 1k .40 and 1k .45. He said on Sunday I'd have it on Thursday and so I did.
I had other ammo in stock but wanted to try his which I did Thursday afternoon and today.
In 9mm fired his ammo through a G34, G17, P229 Scorpion and my XDM Competition in 9mm.
In .40, P226 and G22. In .45, G21sf, P220 Combat and XD-45 Tactical.
probably some others but I'm 55 and can't remember squat.
Not a single issue, not one. No FTF, no FTE's, nothing, nada.
Couldn't have been more pleased. Strongly recommend Serge/Bulletman911.
