Have you used their ammo? What does new refer to with their ammo? Is it just new brass vs used brass in the other loads? The prices are pretty good. Is there another place to get good reloads like these, with the prices in the same range?

I am thinking about reloading .45 in the future but for now looking to get some good reloads.

The truth is: they're very good. Quality is top notch, shipping is quick and priced well. Shocking ability to keep ammo actually IN STOCK.

I have tons of their 9mm, some .44 magnum, and a bunch of .223 from them.

"new" means loaded into brand new brass. There was no reloaded option for .44 Mag for whatever reason, and it came in new Starline brass at an awesome price.

My best advice would be to order the "blaster" ammo. They claim it is cosmetically blemished vs. regular ammo and this is why the price is lower, but the stuff looks better than a lot of brand new ammo I've purchased. They really clean and polish the heck out of the brass and it's loaded very consistently. Maybe the blaster has more little surface imperfections on the bullets themselves but that's a big maybe, and it won't affect your accuracy unless you think you're going to be benchrest style shooting this stuff.

I think the real savings in the "blaster" comes from shipping it loose in bulk boxes (9mm comes in 250-round boxes) instead of in plastic bullet sleeves and such (not all their new stuff comes in those anyway). Although, according to the site they're temporarily out of those anyway due to supply issues.

...depending on where you are, you can get Miwall reloads at gunshows at very good prices. There are other companies that do reloads (or DID, like Jack Ross, USA Ammo, etc) but I haven't found any as reliable as FM and also at the same price level.

I've shot about 3,000 rounds of their blaster 9mm at USPSA matches. I haven't had any problems with them. They make minor PF and are reliable.

I've also shot a bunch of their blaster and regular reloaded .223 without issue as well.

Unfortunately their prices have gone up about $20 since the start of the year, but are still a good deal and usually ship fast.

I've used their 5.56, .223, 9mm and .380 acp ammo without any problems. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from again for plinking ammo. Dont forget if you're not a reloader, you can also send them your accumulated spent brass for a discount towards your next purchase.

i just bought 500 rds, of 125 gr hp 357 mag, mfg by HSM, from sportmans guide, for $200. they list as running 1440 fps.
Freedom ammo, has 158gr gold dot HP running 1550fps, for $239...this sounds much better.
Oh, and the sg price, was after you join their club.
