Another Glockhead

Glocks are really ugly, its insulting to me when someone labels an ugly gun with "Perfection", and my CZ is superior in every way possible. But there I was today buying a Glock 19 (used btw from another Calgunner). You can't argue with results, and in my official tests the Glock 17 and 19 proved to be great, ie accurate and reliable. Unlike everyone else, I really like the fixed sights. They sight at true point of aim, more accurate than Trijucon nite sights IMHO. I don't think it'll replace my CZ as my favorite, but a few months I never thought I'd proudly call that ugly gun mine.

Like all other Glock owners, I look forward to not maintaining it, storing it in blocks of ice or pools of mud, and parking my car on it every night.

Kind of funny, I decided to give Glock a try as well. My brand new 3 month old Glock 19 is giving me issues at the moment and needs the most attention. Reliable yes, but I am taking too much brass to the face/head/arms at the moment. Just learned it's the Good ole' dipped extractor/ "erratic ejection" issue. Really sucks.

My Kimber TLE 1911, runs flawless all day everyday. Just order a new Recoil Spring more Magazines for her.

cz get more range time for me, simply more enjoyable to shoot.

Recommend the glock extended magazine release, bust mod I did to the G19.

I find it funny when people come to this forum to "Apologize" for buying a Glock. Or buy one and list all sorts of disclaimers about why they did it, like temporary insanity.

Enjoy your new Glock! One way to prevent safe-queenism for your CZs is to buy a different caliber Glock than the CZs.

I don't mind the stock Glock sights either in terms of usage.. but they are plastic and I've had one actually get dinged up pretty bad before. I'd have no problems with them if they were metal. Mine has Heinie sights, just all black.

Glocks definitely feel really crude after you really own and handle some nice 1911s or wheelguns.. but Glocks do exactly what I need them to. I've definitely said goodbye to some nicer feeling guns in my collection because they were pricier than Glocks, but just didn't handle in my hands as well - just couldn't justify keeping them around.

so i just went with my sister to the gun range. she's never shot any gun before so I had her try a few of mine. we brought of the S&W 686SSR and the SP-01 and P-01 and had a blast. Well, coming out of the range, I saw a Glock 26 that I've been eying and am thinking of getting a 26 for a sub-compact.

G26 - sub-compact

that would be divine! gotta save up! im a 9mm freak since i like to shoot a lot and 9mm is so much more economical for me.
