I bought the gun from Gunbroker, because no one else had it in stock. I then had it shipped to Ryan at TableRockArms. Ryan charges $110, installs a conversion barrel and mag block, then sends it to an FFL (I Chose Riflegear). FFL will also charge you for the transfer and TAX, which wasn't paid because the gun was purchased outside of CA.

I have been wanting one, but the price will end up pretty high doing a SSE, imagine you have to ship it to Oregon, then from Oregon ship it to your FFL, then you will have to send the SSE kit back to Oregon, so it will roughly be around $300 on top of the purchased price.

Go here and ask if anyone has one for sale. It is a longshot, but who knows.

Do you have a parent, grandparent, child, or grandchild who lives in another state? If so, they can give one to you.

Other option is to put it together after you buy a standard frame. You'd just have to buy all the pieces on the slide assembly. S&W sometimes sells them separately, you can ask them to notify you when they have em in stock.

S&W does not sell either the Pro or the Long slide. I have tried more then once.
