MK25. The sticker will help you shoot better.

J/K. Be happy with the W. German 226. Unless you need the rail, you really aren't missing much other than the anchor, sticker.

Is the trigger pull lenght the same?

Kinda dumb I know. But I need to get off of this fence.

          Thanks.
Keep the W. German gun. In my amateur experience cross shopping the new Sigs against a CPO P226, I found the pre-owned refurbished gun to be better built than the brand new pistol.

Don't buy into the marketing hype either, as the gun which won the Navy contract to begin with in the 80s was the W. German model. Skip the new one, and I'd even go so far as to advise new shoppers to find a W. German gun over a brand new P226. This isn't to suggest that new pistols are junk, but a $500 price difference is substantial.

Tough choice, but I would keep the classic. As you mentioned, the new one will have the rail. You can also get the factory option short reset trigger. Both are nice features.

I own two 1994 Sigs: P226 and P220 since new and can't part with them yet.

Rent the new one at the range and see if you like it enough to make the change.

Do not sell, newer Sig's on average are not the as good as the old W German ones.

regardless of the merits of the P226 you have been considering, i believe you would 'at some point' regret parting with the one you already have.

buy some updated grips for the W. German one and call it a day.

Unless you like hunting sharks with your P226....
