    Just bought a S&W 915

Well I got a S&W 915 a few weeks ago for $200. Its my first Smith (not to big a fan of em) so i'm kinda excited about bringing it home to see how it shoots. It's in about 98% and seems to have only been fired only a few times. Does anyone know how to disable the mag disconect? Will post some pics when I get it.

I do have a sw915 for 16 yrs. now. It's my work piece and never had any problem with it. Enjoy your pistol..

I've always liked the looks of the S&W 915. Looking forward to your pics of the pistol.

Been a long time BUT I wanna say...Drift the rear sight to the side, remove the spring and pin and reposition the rear sight.
I think it's the same as the old 59's.

Congrats on a good gun for a great price.
Give yourself some time to get used to the trigger and you'll really like it.

Info on the disconnect incoming via PM.

You lucky duck. You will find the trigger is awesome on that piece. Super short reset and will lighten up with round count. No need to remove the disconnect on that IMO. Just asking for trouble if you ever use it in a self-defense senario. I will give you $250.00 for it.
