I spoke with a Ruger rep today and he confirmed that Ruger will soon be releasing a sub-compact single stack 9mm similar to the newly released LCP. Hopefully they can keep the dimensions close to the LCP. It should be an excellent CCW or LEO BUG.

I believe the Ruger reps at the SHOT show stated that the SR9 and LCP will not be submitted for testing in CA due to CA DOJ BoF's inability to give a definition of what a loaded chamber indicator is.sigpic
