Check my thoughts on this. forgetting the fact that it's a "dumb idea", that there's "no reason to build it", that it's "impractical", and that there's no justification for making happen other than "I want it", here's my question:
If I were to build a semi-auto AR-10 pistol and added a mag lock (bullet button), I could have:
-a threaded barrel with muzzle device.
-barrel shroud (=second hand grip)
and its legal? seems that way.
--------------
Also, according to the flow chart I could:
remove the gas tube and add a side charger upper, it's no longer semi automatic. Now I can have ALL SORTS of "evil" features. muzzle device, grips, detachable mag, greater than 10 round mags (if I had any, I don't, 10 rounds is fine). And its legal.
Am I reading the flowchart right here?
