    10 Round Mags for BTA90?

I bought a 9mm Tanfoglio BTA90 in Nov1990. It came with a 12 round magazine. Now I want to transfer ownership. Apparently I have two choices for transferring the gun including the magazine:
    1. Permanently convert the 12 rd mag to a 10 rd mag.
    2. Acquire a 10 rd mag that works in the gun.

I have tried the 10 rd mag for the Witness Steel Compact; it did not work because it was made for the post-2005 guns.

Question: Anyone know of a source for a California legal 10 round mag that will work in this BTA90? I prefer to buy one since I do not want to be concerned with the definition of "permanent".

You might need to use earlier Tanfoglio mags.

YoureBTA-90 looks roughly the size of my TZ-75 Compact.

They would consider your BTA90 a small frame if you have a compact.

I had a TZ-75 Compact and bought the mag below.

    It worked flawlessly.

By the way, I think the TZ-75 Compact and BTA-90 had the same dimensions except for the safety, in where the TZ-75 had a frame mounted one while yours had a Slide mounted one.

      CZ75 magazines will work.

I bought a 1986 vintage TA90 full size once, and the seller included a new-model Tanfoglio magazine which caused feed issues.I picked up a 15 round Pro-Mag CZ75 magazine on a hunch and it worked like a charm, so that's where i'd source a 10 rounder.

Thanx for the suggestions. I bought a ProMag EAA 03 mag. It's for the Witness & TZ-75 Compacts but works in the BTA90.
