I think I'm gonna just go for the Ruger Mark III first, it'll give me a ton of practice while I save up for a Glock or 1911. I really need a range toy so I can spend hours & hours practicing the fundamentals, and I've been in love with the look of the old German Lugers since I was a kid, so the Ruger Mark III will somewhat fulfill a childhood dream.
I'm leaning toward the Mark III Target (bull barrel) over the 22/45, I like the idea of getting an all-metal frame. I'm hoping this is a pistol I'll be able to hand down to my children when the time comes.
