Colt Model 1903 Hammerless

A colleague at the office brought one of these in today. He asked me what I thought it might be worth, no idea.

It's a bit beat up, no mags or accessories, but the barrel is fine, and looks to be in working order.

Based on serial number, it's a Type III model 1903.

Any estimates of value out there??

Concluded auctions on Gunbroker show a range of $300-500 depending upon condition.

Genuine Colt Magazines go for about $200. Triple K replacements are mostly good but somewhat iffy and about $30 each. National Magazines from Midway have been problematic, but are very cheap.

$300 if somewhat beat up, $500 if you have an original magazine.

The lack of the magazine is a real killer on the value.
