3 new Glocks! From 3 different decades!

I picked 3 new to me glocks recently!

Glock 17L gen 1, I believe it is from 1988
Glock 19 rtf2 gen 3 from 2009
Glock 34 gen 4 from 2012

Only shot the 34 so far but they are all going to the range tomorrow.



And one of the 17L, thats the looker of the bunch ;-)

Considering how rare they are (especially here in CA) & that the FDE GEN 4's (easy to find) run over $700 OTD, I think it's a fair price. Yeah it's pretty steep for a Glock, but it's unfired & not your run of the mill, everyday Glock. Have you seen some of the prices guys are getting for OD Glocks (even outside CA)?

I shot all 3 yesterday. The 17L is great, but the drawbacks of the slick grip is obvious, especially when shooting it back to back with the rtf2 19 which turned out to be a perfect fit to my hand.

Still shoot the best with g34. Maybe I'll try to find a 17 rtf2 and couple it with a 34 slide to make the perfect glock (for me)!

Arkangel - to find any new glock with trijicons for $500 otd will be hard.

I totally agree. I want a Gen 4 but I can't see paying a premium and letting some knucklehead profit that much off of it. I'll wait til I move to Utah in 4 months. The RTF2 w/gills is something I would consider spending a bit more on though.

Of course the Glock 7 is made of porcelain and porcelain is much more expensive to produce.

I agree with you, but I also understand the supply & demand part of it. All my Glocks are Blue Label (including the GEN 4's). I was thinking about getting one of the FDE GEN 4 G19's, but I couldn't justify the extra cost. My GEN 4 G17 was $399 & my GEN 4 G19 was $425, compared to the FDE version @ $649. That being said, if someone wants a rare or hard to get Glock, I understand why they'd be willing to pay a little extra for it.
