Para 14-45 Double Stack Frame and Slide Value?

I think I have a pretty good feel for CA handgun values...

I am however, confused by trying to figure out fair pricing for a bare 1911 double stack frame.

It is a Para Ord 14-45 in steel, bare frame and slide and 1 new mag only. Just bead blasted in preparation for a custom build up and re-finish.

What is the going rate for something like this via PPT in CA?

Thanks in advance for any input...

That is all up to how bad you want it. Found this on Gunbroker and I seriously think it's too high especially for an alloy frame: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=313015590

If the slide is Para Ord I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it. Be advised that the barrel channel diameter is bigger than standard Colt. The frame kit if it comes with the stock plastic grips, series 70 conversion plate and trigger will be no more than $350.

i would have to look it up, but i think i paid $4-500, for my bare para14-45 steel frame, (when they first came out). no slides, or full firearms available then
That may be a CG first!

Reserve of $750 and BIN of $900 for just those parts? I agree...too high.

I was thinking $350 for just the frame, slide and mag?

$350.00 would be my top dollar for the whole setup. I passed on a complete P-14/45 with the safety pinned for $450.00, I wasn't willing to gamble on it.

What do you mean by gamble?

I didn't feel like throwing away $450.00 to find the guy did some frame butchering(not real familiar with pinning the grip safety),
so I bought the guys VERY nice SS Colt Commander for $650.00 instead. I feel like I made the better choice of the two.

For sure. I understand what you mean. That's a steal for the Colt.
