Randall magazine

I have a rock island 45 that i took out yesterday and someone gave me a ss Randall magazine for it, the gun function fine with my other two magazines (factory act and cheap Springfield one off midway) but every time with the Randall mag when on the last shot instead of locking the slide back the magazine feed lip would get stuck underneath the slide release only when firing not if i was to just put the empty mag and rack it, im hoping its as simple as replacing the feed lip but was wondering if anyone else has had this happen

Now you know why they gave it to you...I'd throw it away...sounds like the magazine is out of spec

Unfortunate. Randall made some pretty nice guns back in the day.

Offer the Randall magazine up on Gunbroker and use the proceeds to buy a couple of Wilson mags. I wouldn't throw it away.

there suposed to be some pretty good mags from what ive read and people really want them..
