    Gen 3&4 glock19 differences?

What are some visual differences between the gen 3&4 glock19? I'm in the market for one and I wanna be sure of what im looking at while I shop for it.
Also which gen is the better more reliable buy?

Are you exempt from the "not safe" handgun roster?

I think you can switch the mag release on the gen 4 from lefty to righty or vise versa. I'm also looking for a glock 17 gen 4 hopefully by the time i'm 21 it will be on the roster so I don't have to sse it.

            Adj straps
            New grip (RTF takeoff)
            Ambi mag release
            "Gen4" marking on slide
Mags have 2 silver cuts for ambi release

            I think that's abouuttt it..

Larger square shape magazine release on Gen4. Dual captive recoil spring.

It will never be on the roster because Glock refuses to add a magazine disconnect and LCI to it, or any other Gen4.

I have 8k through my gen4 19 and it's been flawless. Have a gen4 17 on order that I'll be using for uspsa/idpa production/ssp and looking into a gen4 34 as an open gun. Can't go wrong with either gen though imo.

Good I don't think they or anyone ever should.. It's BS. To me that disconnect is like the progressive chip thingy that lowers your car payments while they watch you drive.. It's not right and shouldn't be accepted into everyday life...

I'm telling you now it will soon be law to have one and then were all f**ked.. That's big brother sh** at its finest.

Yes, but you can SSE it. Like has been said, the Gen 4's are marked on the slide.
