    Question on reduced recoil spring

I have a Sig P226 .40 S&W. Having tendonitis, I find it somewhat difficult working the slide. I've tried a P2022 in 9mm and the slide is easier to pull back.

Please recommend me the proper replacement spring to get. I've read that the factory spring exerts 20 lbs of pressure, so anything lower than that without compromising the gun's action would be great. Is that how it works? Also, where could I buy one? I'm a total newbie so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think the 9mm has 15lb springs. You might need to use lighter loads with a lighter spring.

      Get your springs here:
