    JMB is calling to me....

I knew this might happen. After running my new Les Baer TRS, I'm feeling the urge to purchase another 1911. This time with a rail to mount a light and the SA MC Operator is looking real tempting. Also, Something about reloading that .45acp horse pill that makes it more satisfying and enjoyable....

He calls on me all the time. He said not to divulge the secret handshake to non-believers.

Any Browning is a good choice for a classic gun.
There should be a rule against quoting oneself. I was hoping to get a reaction from the "classic" idea.

Does anyone think JMB thought that his designs were meant to be carried cocked and locked?

I have talked a few, <ten, servicemen who said not only did they carry with an empty chamber, they were limited to 5-6 rounds in the mag.

It was better than the .38 (not Special) revolver it replaced, but, it seems to me, not the draw and shoot gun we imagine now.

                          Anyone have any history?
